The Hongta Hotel  is a four star hotel located in the Huangkou International Holiday Resort, near to Tunxi. It is about 15km from the airport and 5km from the railway station. This is a nice hotel, although not convenient for those visiting the mountain, unless you arrive in Tunxi late in the evening.

The Hongta has 100 guest rooms, including standard and double rooms, single rooms and deluxe suites. The hotel recreation facilities are good, lying as it does in the Hangkou Resort. There is a tennis court, a beauty salon, a billiards room, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool. For dining, the hotel Chinese restaurant provides Cantonese, Sichuan and local dishes. There is also a western restaurant. There are also meeting rooms and a multi function hall which can hold 150 people.
